Spiritual Motherhood is not just for biological mothers and those who have made religious vows. It's a call to a new way of seeing and a radical gift of self. It’s the feminine genius in action, and it has the power to completely transform our increasingly dehumanizing culture. Women: Join us Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM in the Parish Center beginning September 16 for Walking with Purpose: Spiritual Motherhood. For more information, contact Carol Bove at [email protected]. Throughout Church history, people have spent their lives on mission, committed to spreading the gospel message. They were disciples who made disciples. What does that look like for Catholic women today? How do we practically follow in their footsteps, ensuing that the message of Jesus Christ continues to reach everyone?
Women: Join us Wednesday mornings at 9:15 AM in the Parish Center beginning September 30 for Walking with Purpose: Passionate Discipleship.
Women's Evening Cafe Monday October 5 6:30 - 8:30 PM in the Church Hall
What if etiquette is about more than knowing the “right” thing to do?
Discover how simple acts of courtesy, hospitality, and attentiveness can become meaningful gestures that point others toward the beauty of our faith. Together, we’ll explore how the small ways we speak, welcome, listen, and care for others can communicate dignity, respect, and love. Leave with simple, practical practices you can incorporate into everyday life - small moments that bring greater beauty, grace, and connection to the lives of those you touch.
Speaker Joan Stokely is a parishioner of SS Peter and Paul, wife of Deacon Pat Stokely, mother of Rev. John P. Stokely, local business owner, and consultant who will share her insights on how we can reclaim this important lost art. Free will donations are welcome. Bring cash for raffle! RSVP at Signup Genius by October 2nd. Contact [email protected] with any questions.
Saints Peter and Paul will be holding its first annual Christmas Cookie Walk on December 19. Attendees will be able to purchase a container at the door and fill it with home-baked holiday treats.
We are asking home bakers to contribute at least six dozen of their family-favorite home-baked Christmas cookies. Holiday cakes, breads, and candies are also very welcome.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Good Saint Anne. If you would like to donate baked goods, contact Dawn Lovejoy at 610.358.9485 or Joanne Dearlove at 610.692.8089 by October 15.
