The mission of Saints Peter and Paul music ministry is to enhance the sacred liturgy as we lead and support congregational singing in glorifying and praising God. Saints Peter and Paul musicians and singers answer their call to music ministry by sharing their unique talents with our parish community. Organists provide the foundation for congregational singing, in partnership with cantors, choirs, and music ensembles; they also play appropriate solo music in the form of preludes, postludes, and during Mass as needed. A degree in music and/or extensive experience as a church organist is required, plus knowledge of - or the ability to learn - Catholic church organist requirements. Organists are selected by audition.

Cantors lead the assembly in sung worship, sometimes in partnership with the organist and sometimes "a cappella" (unaccompanied singing). A cantor should have a prayerful presence and a solo voice that invites congregational singing. Knowledge of a cantor's unique liturgical role plus willingness to continue ongoing training and certification is required. Cantors are selected by audition.

Saints Peter and Paul Adult Choir sings two 11:30am Sunday masses per month, September through June. The choir also leads the singing at other select liturgies, including Christmas Eve, Holy Thursday, Easter, etc. New members, age 18+, are welcome to join. Weekly rehearsals are held on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in the church.

Saints Peter and Paul Children's Choir sings one 9:30 a.m. Sunday mass per month from October through May and at select liturgies, including Christmas Eve and Easter. Children in grades 3 through 8 may join the group. Weekly rehearsals are held on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. in the Church.

Joyous Sound (guitar group) sings one mass per month (either 4:30pm Saturday or 9:30am Sunday). Rehearsals are scheduled as needed. Singers and guitarists are welcome to join the group.

Our parish uses PowerPoint projection at the 4:30 p.m, 9:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. weekend masses. Volunteers, ages 12+, are greatly needed in this year-round support role. Training is provided.
